For Sale: 1968 Chevelle Restomod, 5.3 LS/GT45 Turbo, Muncie 4-Speed, VintageAir A/C, PS, PB, everything in the car has been gone through and any questionable parts were replaced. Less than 500 miles on complete rebuild. Car runs and drives as it should. This set-up made 450 wheel horsepower with its current boost level (5psi). The engine is set-up to reliably run at 15psi of boost on pump gas with only an injector and tune change. Car has never been raced or mistreated. It was built to drive in the Hot Rod Power Tour and similar events but was never taken.
Engine: Gen III 5.3LS, Bores were honed, new Moly Rings gapped to .028 for boost, New King Rod and Main Bearings, New Cam Bearings and Cam (Sloppy Stage 2, .585 Lift), New PAC 1218 Valve Springs, New Lifters, New MLS Head Gaskets, New Melling Oil Pump, New Water pump, New Cloyes Timing Chain and Gears, New ARP Rod Bolts, All New Gaskets and Seals, Heads are Casting #862 and have been Port Matched and Polished.
Transmission: Muncie 4-Speed, completely rebuilt, New Bearings and Synchros, “Zero-Rok” Sliders, New Reverse Gear, Heavy Duty side cover kit with hardened shafts installed.
Rear-end: GM 10 Bolt, New 3.55 Richmond Gears, with New Yukon Locker, New bearings throughout, Heavy Duty Pinion yoke from 5speeds.com., New brakes and hardware.
Body: Zero rust, Rear Quarters replaced, Both Inner Wheel Houses replaced, New front Fenders, Left Rocker has been replaced, New SS hood, Trunk Pan replaced, Floor pans replaced, New Front and Rear Bumpers, New Turn Signal lenses and Reverse light lenses, New Grille, New Outer Door Handles, New Rear Trim, New Door to body Weatherstripping, New window felt, New window run channels, New Trunk Weatherstripping.
Interior: New Dash Pad, New Carpet with insulation attached, New Front and Rear Door Panels, Front and Rear Seats are completely restored including new burlap and New Foam, Entire inside was lined with 2 layers of “Kilmat” sound deadening as well as one layer of Kilmat Foam insulation, New Headliner, New Retrosound FM Radio with AUX out., New Steering Wheel.
Wheels: 15x7 Front and 15x10 Rear Rally Wheels, 235/70-15 Fronts and 275/60-15 Rears, all 4 Tires are new.
Suspension: Hotchkis Lowering Springs in the Front, AFCO Racing Coilovers Rear, New Summit Oversized Sway bars with Polyurethane Bushings Front and Rear, Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushings replaced with Polyurethane, Rear Control Arms have been boxed and bushings replaced with Polyurethane bushings., New brakes and hoses Front and Rear.
