Vehicle Description
Zoom Classic Cars presents a piece of Italian automotive history
with this 1959 Alfa Romeo Sprint. The current owner is an avid AR
enthusiast and has brought this little classic back to life in 2008
with a new(er) AR '64 Sprint engine mated to a 5-speed AR manual
transmission. The odo shows 60k on the body which has likely rolled
over. This Sprint is extremely unique in that it sports a sunroof
that was never part of the Giulietta's profile, but the same style
can be seen on VW's & Porsche's of the time which leads us to
believe the Sprint was likely sold from a German dealership and
later brought stateside, likely by a GI. The interior has been
redone with period correct patterns and materials including a new
headliner. Additionally, the brakes have been fully overhauled
mechanically, while the brake lights could use attention. Aside
from blemishes in the paint and some rust on the rocker panels, the
car is in very good condition overall running & driving very
strong. The car is currently garaged (and driven) at the owner's
residence in Potomac, MD. Contact Chris at 646-866-3461 for more
pictures and information on this classic Alpha.
