This is a frame off build inspired by Jay Leno's Buick Roadmaster.
This build started with a powder coated frame, a late model GM
sourced independent front suspension, rear suspension utilizes GM
truck arm style (used in NASCAR), a new 502 cubic inch Ram Jet fuel
injected engine, new Turbo 400 automatic transmission, new Currie
rear end, 4 wheel power disc brakes, new wiring, air conditioning,
power windows, high end custom sound system, custom made wheels
that accommodate new wide tires and the original wheel covers, in
addition to the high quality paint, chrome and upholstery. The
Special has approximately 800 miles on it since completion at a
cost of over $120,000.
This car runs and drives effortlessly with smooth powerful
performance and a contemporary level of comfort and handling. The
Buick special comes with a clean California title, the black and
gold "year of make" 1955 California license plates and is exempt
