Recently restored by a lifelong antique car builder. It is so much
car for the money! The style in and out with unique features is
really cool. It's full of power accessories and they all seem to be
working.
EXTERIOR: Gorgeous color! What great lines too. The body is
straight with no damage or rust. The panels fit square. Stunning
metallic red is laid out evenly with a glossy clear coat finish.
Door handles look new, bumpers were rechromed. Deluxe hubcaps are
wrapped in radial tires. The white retractable top is in excellent
shape. New weatherstrips on the doors and top.
INTERIOR: Just as stylish as the exterior. It has bucket seats with
a console that morphs right into the dash. Unique swing away wheel.
Also, unique gauges with a horizontal speedometer. It has bucket
seats in front, wrap around seats in back. Both seats are power.
Pearl white upholstery and door panels were replaced. Carpet was
replaced.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt 390-300 hp motor with 4 barrel carb. It
features power steering and brakes. The motor and all its
components look clean and proper. It has the washer bag, fan
shroud, battery is bolted down etc. The engine bay is painted
glossy.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The deck lid opens, unfolds and a convertible
top come out like a Transformer! It is painted body color, smooth
and glossy. New liner kit. The components look proper and restored.
Working trunk light.
UNDERSIDE: Looks to be well sorted underneath. Miscellaneous
components were replaced- some front end bushings, steering parts,
brake hoses. Disc brakes upfront. Solid dual exhaust system with
crossover pipe. Looking up at the motor it's very clean, fuel
filter and starter look fresh. Rebuilt Cruise-o-matic transmission.
The drive shaft was rebuilt, the rear end looks clean. Floors
appear to be very solid.
Our shop inspected the car and spent $1,640 servicing it. We
replaced the door lock cylinders, repaired the switches for the
top, lubed the rear windows, repaired the turn signals and serviced
the steering column. We repaired the power window switch, replaced
the voltage regulator and starter solenoid. Tightened the belts.
The 390 motor will effortlessly push you down that country road
with the top down while you have a smile ear to ear!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
