excited to feature the following 1983 Ford Bronco. This SUV spent
time in California and Arizona and is a nice example with only
21,452 miles showing on the odometer, though true mileage is
unknown. The two-tone Light Desert Tan with Candy Apple Red inserts
presents well with nice gloss and even coverage. The finish has a
few minor chips, but has otherwise been well-maintained. This
Bronco features the XLT luxury trim package, including chrome
accent trim, chrome bumpers, and a chrome grille. The chrome and
related stainless-steel trim are all present where they should be,
and show some light patina. Other exterior features include the
Swing-Away spare tire carrier, low-mount Western Swing-Away
mirrors, body color-matched Dessert Tan Fiberglass Roof, and Tinted
glass. The interior is well kept, showing light wear on the seats
and carpeting. The optional Captain's Chair seats are finished in
tan vinyl with patterned cloth inserts. As part of the XLT package,
the interior and door panels are accented with simulated woodgrain
and simulated leather-wrapped steering wheel and center console.
The wood trim dash frames the sport instrumentation which features
a factory tachometer, voltmeter, oil pressure, and coolant temp
gauges. A factory AM/FM stereo, tilt steering, cruise control, air
conditioning, power windows, and power locks round out the interior
options on this true Cowboy Cadillac. Under the hood, the engine
compartment has been kept clean and well maintained with a new
alternator and recent tune-up including plugs, plug wires, and cap
and rotor. The 351 V8 is topped with an aftermarket 4bbl carburetor
with electric choke. Additional show to add to go comes in the form
of an Edelbrock chrome open element air cleaner, and chrome valve
covers with flame accents. The cooling system features the optional
heavy-duty Super Cooling package. This Bronco is equipped with
four-wheel drive, and the renowned Ford twin I-beam independent
front suspension with automatic locking hubs. The suspension is
further augmented with the factory optional handling package, which
includes front and rear sway bars with heavy-duty shocks. Power is
transferred through a 3-speed C-6 automatic transmission with a
dual-range, manual shift transfer case that sends the power to the
optional 3.55 Limited slip rear gears. This truck is optioned with
power steering, power brakes, and a larger gas tank for increased
fuel tank capacity. The truck sits up nicely on a set of aluminum
15-inch wheels wrapped in 33X12/50R15 BF Goodrich All-Terrain
raised white letter tires. Third Generation Ford Broncos, like this
one, are well known for their sedate ride comfort on the highway,
but are also highly capable off-road vehicles thanks to their
unique suspension configuration. Of course, because of this
off-road capability, many of these hard-working SUVs saw some rough
usage on two tracks and rural trails which makes finding nice
examples challenging. This is a rugged-looking vehicle which offers
luxury amenities. It's a great vehicle to cruise anywhere, from the
highway to the trail. Please call if interested or e-mail with
