Vehicle Description
This custom 1956 Mercury M-100 pickup has undergone an extensive
restoration and was subsequently outfitted with 1956 Ford emblems.
Power comes by way of a 5.0-liter fuel-injected Ford Motorsports V8
engine hooked up to an AOD overdrive automatic transmission with a
posi-traction rear axle. The detailed engine bay houses an aluminum
radiator with electric fans to keep cool on those hot summer days.
The exhaust is handled by a 2.5-inch stainless-steel system with
Flowmaster mufflers. The front end has been upgraded to independent
suspension with power rack & pinion steering, and it rides on
255/35ZR20 tires mounted on custom Ridler polished wheels. The base
coat/clear coat has been polished and exhibits a deep gloss, and
the cargo bed consists of refinished oak boards with polished
stainless-steel strips. The custom interior has been fitted with
leather bucket seats with adjustable headrests, a tilt steering
column with leather-wrapped steering wheel, custom headliner and
custom door panels. A set of Classic Instruments gauges are set
into the dash to monitor engine vitals. The original vacuum wipers
have been replaced with a dual electric unit, and the truck has
also been fitted with air conditioning. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
