Extended Cab Pickup Custom F100 Ford pickup trucks come in many
varieties, but few of them have the kind of body modifications
found in this custom hauler now designated as the F125. Though the
extended cab is the most obvious transformation, this great looking
truck carries a heavy load of surprises - and, it is available at a
fraction of the invested cost. A short interview with the owner is
available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5inEFfKbYOU The
electrically operated tilt forward hood on this 1956 Ford opens to
reveal a tuned port, fuel injected Ford power plant bored and
stroked to 427 CID - a brute mill delivering north of 600
horsepower. The drive train features a Bowtie Engineering Stage 3,
bullet-proof, 700R4 four speed automatic overdrive transmission,
custom 2 piece driveline and Winters variable ratio quick change
rear end with 3.83:1 to 4.41:1 gear options. The truck rides on a
custom built chassis with polished TCI independent front
suspension, 4 bars rear, adjustable Air Ride Technology bag system,
burly 12 inch Wilwood power disk brakes at all 4 corners, and big B
A D 18 & 20 inch alloy rims wrapped with high performance BF
Goodrich rubber. The hauler features a huge 4 core aluminum
radiator with electric fans, and an 8 quart pan and oil cooler to
keep it running cool even in the fierce summer heat of Las Vegas
when the Vintage AC system is cranked up to the max. Inside, there
is a custom dash with Dakota Digital instrumentation, a large
mirror with view screen for a front view camera to avoid parking
space damage to the front roll pan, and an over the top stereo with
roof mounted speakers. Other creature features include power
windows, power door poppers, an Ididit polished tilt wheel steering
column topped by a steering wheel that matches the rims. The steel
center console houses air bag controls, auxiliary indicators,
radio, convenience lights, and a storage compartment.
