Vehicle Description
This 1946 Chevrolet 3100 pickup rides on an all-steel body that has
been restored back to the factory's original condition. The chrome
and brightwork have been carefully refurbished, resulting in a
clean presentation of the early Chevrolet pickup truck. No detail
was overlooked as seen in the correct body steel wheels with twin
pinstripes and hubcaps mounted on Firestone 4-ply polyester cord
wide whitewall tires. Even the matching side-mounted spare tire is
period-correct. The fully restored interior features a
reupholstered bench seat, the correct steering column and the wheel
complete with column-mounted turn-signal indicator system. Under
the hood, has a detailed engine bay housing the Blue Flame 235ci
6-cylinder inline engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission.
Other features include a modern air-conditioning system, chrome
bumpers, dual wipers, manual choke, a fully restored bed floor
complete with stainless-steel rails, chrome exhaust tip, chrome
fender-mounted turn-signal indicators, chrome exterior mirror,
floor-mounted starter pedal, floor-mounted parking brake, vinyl
flooring, and temperature, battery, oil and fuel gauges. The
underside of this pickup is just as clean as the top and retains
the stock front end, as well as the stock rear, and is equipped
with factory-correct leaf springs.
