Vehicle Description
STK 3259 1975 Lincoln Continental Mark IV
The Lincoln Continental Mark IV was not a high volume model.
Production numbers were just over 47,000 units for the 1975 model
year, but it has always been considered one of Lincoln's most
popular cars. It utilized the long hood/deck configuration that was
prominent for this generation of luxury coupes. This partially
restored 1975 Continental Mark IV is a superb example of this
classic Lincoln. It is optioned with a special luxury package
offered by the factory in 1975 - the 'Saddle and White Luxury
Group'. This package included a White Decor exterior finish
w/Saddle vinyl roof, White leather interior w/Saddle colored cross
straps and Saddle accents. The exterior of this Continental was
professionally refinished in 1990 and is in very good condition.
Mark IV forged alloy wheels along with oval 'opera-style' rear
windows add nice accents to the Lincoln's beautiful lines. Inside,
the original 'Saddle Luxury Group' leather interior shows very
little wear. This Continental is equipped with air conditioning
(converted to R134), AM/FM/8-Track stereo, tilt wheel and cruise.
Additional power-assist features include: 60/40 front seat, tinted
windows, door locks and trunk release. Horsepower is provided by a
460ci V8 (never rebuilt and still running fine). It is backed by
Ford's 3-speed C-6 automatic (U-code) and factory differential
w/2.75:1 gears (2-code). The fifth-generation Lincoln Continental
was fitted with coil springs at all four corners and equipped with
power steering and 4-wheel disc brakes w/Hydro Boost. There are few
of these classic Continental Mark IV coupes around today - fewer
still in this outstanding condition. This beautiful Lincoln would
look very stately in your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
