Vehicle Description
This custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer has received a fresh complete
frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration. Powered by a fuel-injected
all-aluminum 530hp 6.2-liter LS3 BluePrint Racing crate engine
backed by a brand-new ITE 4L80E transmission. The engine is
equipped with Holly Terminator X power management, along with
custom LS valve covers and a 92mm throttle body. It has a new
aluminum fuel tank, new ceramic-coated summit racing manifolds and
a new 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust system. Its new wire harness, along
with all-new brake lines and fuel lines that have been built and
installed to accommodate the 4-inch lift. Custom-built Tom Woods
driveshafts turn the Dana front and rear axles with a GM 208
transfer case. A Vintage Air system has been installed, along with
a new black powder-coated billet serpentine pulley system with
power steering, power disc brakes and a new GM steering box. It
also has a 9-inch black powder-coated power brake booster with a
CVF black powder-coated front runner serpentine kit. The engine has
an aluminum radiator with an electric fan and a detailed engine bay
with subtle touches, including all-hidden air conditioning lines
and wiring harness giving a smooth clean firewall. It has a custom
houndstooth interior with bolstered seats with matching wrapped
door panels. This Blazer is equipped with Classic Instruments
stainless-steel gauges and a custom chrome tilt steering column
with a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo system featuring Sony speakers.
All-new smoked glass was used in this build, and the custom rear
hydraulic rams have been installed on the rear hatch. The body and
frame was completely sandblasted down to bare metal before it was
painted and reassembled. It is finished in Lithium Gray with white
two-tone accents, and the underside of the body has been finished
in Lithium Gray LizardSkin coating for durability and
sound-deadening. It has all-new sills along with an all-new trim
and chrome. This build was completed in 2022.
