Vehicle Description
This custom 1972 3-door Chevrolet Suburban is powered by a new LS3
427ci stroker engine pushing 600hp mated to a new 4L80E automatic
transmission coupled to an NP205 transfer case. The engine
compartment houses a new Dewitt aluminum radiator and the engine is
covered by a 2-year, unlimited-mile warranty. The fuel is cased in
a Rick's custom stainless-steel fuel tank. The attention to detail
in the nut-and-bolt restoration is reflected in the 1-year,
1,500-hour frame-off build completed in November 2022. The body was
completely stripped, all metal was epoxy-primed and the frame was
powder-coated. This Suburban rides on 17-inch Mickey Thompson
wheels wrapped in 295/70/17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. This SUV
sits on a 4-inch lift with brand-new leaf springs. The body's
exterior is painted in classic black with complementary
stainless-steel trim. Braking power is supplied by Wilwood front
disc brakes. This Suburban's brand-new custom interior exemplifies
original and modern flare with design qualities like the
houndstooth detail matched with leather trim that covers four
bucket seats and the rear bench seat. Dynamat was installed on the
floorboards to provide soundproofing and heat control. This SUV is
also equipped with a Vintage Air system, RetroSound stereo with
Bluetooth capabilities, tinted windows, Dakota Digital gauges,
Ididit tilt steering column and retractable running boards with
lights.
