Vehicle Description
This custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer has received a fresh, complete
frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration. Powered by a fuel-injected
all-aluminum 430hp 6.2-liter LS3 new General Motors crate engine
backed by a brand new ITE 4L60E automatic transmission. The
powertrain is equipped with Holly Terminator X power management,
along with custom LS valve covers and a 92mm throttle body. This
Blazer is equipped with a 9-inch black powder-coated power brake
booster, aluminum radiator with electric fan, detailed engine bay
with many subtle touches including all hidden air conditioning
lines and hoses giving a smooth, clean firewall finish. It has a
new aluminum fuel tank and new ceramic-coated manifolds along with
new 3-inch exhaust system. A new wiring harness, along with all-new
brake lines and fuel lines, has been built and installed to
accommodate the 4-inch lift, along with the custom-built Tom Woods
driveshafts turning the Dana front and rear axles with a GM 205
transfer case. The body and frame were completely sandblasted down
to bare metal and painted and reassembled. It has a high-end custom
houndstooth interior with bolstered seats paired with matching
wrapped door panels. Also equipped with Classic Instrument gauges,
custom chrome tilt steering column with a RetroSound Bluetooth
stereo system and Sony speakers. Custom rear hydraulic rams have
been installed on the rear hatch. Rides on new 33x12.50R17 tires
and wheels. Finished off in black with white two-tone accents.
All-new smoked glass was used in this build. It also has all-new
sills, along with all-new trim and chrome. It is equipped with a
new Vintage Air system and a new black powder-coated billet
serpentine pulley system, along with power steering, power disc
brakes and new GM steering box. The build was completed in 2022.
