Vehicle Description
1965 CORVETTE ROADSTER "RESTO-MOD"
NOTED DISCLAIMER: THIS CAR HAS A 1964 BODY RESTING ON A 1965
CHASSIS THEREFORE HAS A 1965 V.I.N. & TITLE.
That being said, this car was purchased out of an estate collection
at auction. We do not have information as to why this car is what
it is however and nonetheless, it's a very nice car that looks
really cool and runs & drives incredibly well. CHECK IT OUT!!
We were told that this car is a 7-year-old build & restoration that
had been stored in a climate-controlled warehouse and driven very
sparingly since being completed. All we know for sure is that it
still looks really-really good! The body is super clean, and the
frame (birdcage) is super solid. It has beautiful red base/clear
paint that is super slick and smooth. We just completed a full
detail which includes compounding, buffing and polishing it to a
deep luster and show car shine. We also ceramic coated it to
protect that shine. It really looks amazing!! It also has very nice
chrome, trim and weatherstripping too! The black convertible top is
in like new condition as well as the black interior including the
seats, carpets and door panels, dash and instrument cluster. It is
all very-very nice!! This beautiful Corvette is powered by a strong
running, good sounding 355 c.i. small block engine that we were
told had been rebuilt using aluminum heads with roller rockers, a
good sounding cam, aluminum hi-rise intake, 750 Holley carb and MSD
ignition. All this is backed up by a tight shifting Munci 4 speed
transmission with Hurst shifter.
Other features include, aluminum radiator, disc brakes, new dual
exhaust, AM-FM radio, and 17" Rambler wheels wrapped in new
low-profile high-performance tires. Also, it appears that a lot of
new steering and suspension components have been replaced as well
as fuel and brake systems too. We also just completed a full
mechanical service and maintenance including new plugs, oil &
filter change, radiator flush and fill and serviced the trans and
diff fluids. We also pulled the wheels to inspect the brakes and
made all necessary adjustments to the brakes, clutch and shifter.
We also fixed all the lights and signals so they all work as they
should!
This is a very nice car that is ready to go! It runs, drives,
sounds and looks amazing so don't let the disclaimer deter you from
owning an awesome mid-year Vet
