Vehicle Description
This custom 1963 Chevy C10 pickup with several Best of Show wins is
a Goodguys award-winner and National Street Rod Association
award-winner. It has been featured at SEMA 2018, and has been on
the cover of C10 Builders Guide, National Street Rod Association
magazine and Custom Trucks magazine in Japan. The truck has been
through a ground-up restoration and modernized, with nothing left
untouched. It sits atop a one-off custom-built air-ride chassis
that has been powder-coated in metallic silver and Mystic Teal.
This custom chassis allowed the truck to be converted to right-hand
drive with the help of a Flaming River steering rack & pinion and
column. It is powered by a dyno-tuned all-aluminum 5.3-liter
LS-based engine with a Texas Speed cam and dressed with Holley
intake, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, valley cover, fuel rails
and throttle body, cooled by a Mishimoto radiator and electric fan.
Backed by a 4L65E transmission, the narrowed posi-traction rear
differential allows room for the 22x12 color-matched Raceline
billet wheels and Pirelli tires. Up front, there are custom control
arms, front sealed hubs and 22x9 wheels. Underneath the deep
Platinum Dune Pearl and Mystic Teal two-tone paint are hundreds of
hours of subtle but extensive body modifications, including a
shaved bed, wipers, antenna, front turn signals, shaved firewall,
widened rear-wheel tubs and bead-rolled inner bed panels. The bed
floor is color-matched and clear coated with hand-cut wood and
stainless strips. When opened, an assisted-opening center section
for fuel cell access provides a view of the chassiswork and
undercarriage coated in a matching teal bed liner. A customized
Mocha-colored interior continues the classic appearance, featuring
Relicate leather, reshaped bench seat, custom door panels, Classic
Instruments gauges and kick panels housing JL Audio speakers. A
hidden Bluetooth receiver and JL amplifier pump out your favorite
tunes. The modified dash has controls for the roll-up-and-down back
glass, which was custom-cut and is slightly larger than the
standard big-back glass of this body style. Additional styling cues
include a chrome-plated OEM one-year-only grille and a 1970 C10
back bumper. To protect this truck's timeless looks, the entire
exterior has been ceramic-coated. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE** **TITLE
