Vehicle Description
This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 coupe underwent a 2-year full
nut-and-bolt, no-expense-spared body off rotisserie restoration.
This LS-6 retains its original 454/450HP matching-numbers engine
which is paired with a Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual
transmission and its original CRV-coded 12 bolt post-traction rear
with 3:31 gears. All mechanicals have been rebuilt with new
internals, including the engine, transmission and rear. This
restoration retains most of its original body panels and floors
that shine with its original color code 28 Fathom Blue paint and
black bench-seat interior. The factory Build Sheet, along with
other certifications and documents, are included. It was certified
in December 2022 by Chevelle expert Jerry MacNeish of Camaro
Hi-Performance and has also been accepted and registered in the
International LS6 Registry. The NCRS Chevrolet shipping data report
confirms the matching Baltimore GM plant and dealership codes on
the Build Sheet. This car was restored extremely close to the
factory specifications with factory-equipped gauges, factory
Firestone wide oval tires mounted on its original date-coded
wheels, along with the original spare tire. A factory-spec Gardner
exhaust system gives this classic a true "off-the-dealership-floor"
sound. The Build Sheet provides the customer ordered codes that
include the LS6 engine, M22 transmission, ZL2 cowl-induction hood,
as well as power brakes and a factory windshield antenna. The
restoration was completed in 2022 with 200 break-in miles and is
fully built and restored to brand-new condition front to back. Full
photo documentation of restoration to be included along with the
Build Sheet, Jerry MacNeish certification, NCRS shipping data
report, LS6 certificate of registration, original owner's manual
and the original sales brochure.
