This custom 1969 Ford Mustang fastback named "Marylin" was built
with Pro-Touring in mind. The project began with a full
nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration. It is powered by a factory
Roush 427-SR Ford-based engine that produces 510hp and 515 ft/lbs
of torque. The MSD ignition, custom-built FPA headers and Holley
carburetor bring it all together. The engine is backed by a TREMEC
3550 5-speed manual transmission with a classic Hurst shifter. All
the power is brought to the ground by a 4-link rear suspension with
adjustable coilover shocks and a 9-inch rear end with 3.55 gears.
Stopping is accomplished through 4-wheel disc brakes. The steering
is enhanced by a rack & pinion steering system. The classic air
conditioning and AGR power steering are driven by a serpentine belt
drive that's all machined from billet aluminum. Cooling is
accomplished through and all-aluminum radiator with dual-electric
fans. This car is finished in the original Ford Candy Apple Red.
The interior is completely custom, with wrap-around seats and a
full headliner, as well as full carpeting and Dynomat
soundproofing. Tunes come via a Pioneer sound system. With a full
AutoMeter gauge package, you can monitor the car's vitals with
accuracy. The roll bar blends into the interior and keeps with the
car's subtle look. Receipts and the Elite Marti Report are included
with the sale of this car.
