Vehicle Description
This frame-off restored custom 1977 Ford Bronco 4x4 is powered by a
new ATK 351ci roller engine with an Explorer serpentine setup,
Holley 650 carburetor, Summit Racing HEI distributor and Champion
aluminum radiator with Ron Davis shroud. The 351ci V8 engine is
mated to a fresh C4 automatic transmission with a Hughes
Performance torque converter and deep pan with two fender-mounted
external coolers. It also features a Dana 20 with Wild Horses
extreme rear-output system, Tom Woods driveshafts and a Ford
Truetrac locker with 31-spline chromoly rear axles combine to put
power to the road. All suspension is new, including JBG shocks,
Hellwig front and rear sway bars, James Duff classic traction bars,
Wild Horses 3.5-inch rock crawler coils and 3.5-inch rear leaf
springs and Tom's Bronco long-travel radius arms. There is also a
2-inch body lift. The stopping power rivals its horsepower with
all-new brake components, including front discs, stainless-steel
lines, Hydrotech hydraulic brake-assist system and a floor-mounted
emergency brake. It has an aggressive exhaust note through Ford
Motorsport ceramic headers and dual Flowmaster mufflers. LED
lighting illuminates front, rear and interior. The cabin features
AutoMeter Z-Series gauges, tilt steering, PRP seats, 3-point seat
belts front and rear, lockable console and under-seat box, JB Fab
twin stick, Kenwood stereo and speakers and USB, and 12V charging
ports in the custom dash. Passengers are protected by a 6-point
Tom's Bronco family cage and shaded by a brand-new Rampage
soft-top. The body was thoroughly refurbished with new front
fenders, rockers, kick panels, pillars, NOS floor pans, rear
quarters and doors. The doors received new Scott Drake vent
windows, glass and new regulators. PNW quarter guards and Tom's
Bronco fender flares complement the PPG Orange base coat/clear coat
exterior. Frame and axle housings are powder-coated black. The
bumpers and rocker guards are custom-made. There is a 12,000-pound
front-mounted winch with remote control, and the rear bumper
accommodates a tire carrier, high-lift jack and 5-gallon jerrycan.
Wheels are new 16x10-inch polished aluminum Ions with BFGoodrich
All-Terrain 35x12.5-inch tires. The restoration was completed
approximately 3,200 miles ago, at which time a new odometer was
installed and set to zero. There is a matching spare as well. A
folder with over $30,000 in receipts for parts only will go with
the sale.
