This 1973 Ford Mustang convertible is a one-of-one triple-white
convertible called "Elsa." Every once in a while, a piece of
history becomes available. This three-owner Mustang is complete
with all documentation and was meticulously cared for from day one.
So much care has gone into preserving "Elsa," the convertible top
has never been down. It is finished in triple white: 9A white
paint, a white Sebring knit/Corinthian vinyl interior and a white
power roof with a glass backlight. Power comes from the original
351ci V8 engine backed by the original FMX Cruise-O-Matic automatic
transmission. All numbers match and are original to this true
survivor. Records show the exhaust was replaced March 1999, but
other than that, everything is as it was when it was sold new on
June 4, 1973, for $3,900. Some of the additional factory options
include air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo, color-keyed racing
mirrors, a center console, the convenience group and the deluxe
bumper group. "Elsa" is also equipped with power disc brakes, power
steering, protection group, a rim-blow horn, a deluxe steering
wheel and tinted glass. This convertible rides on factory forged
aluminum wheels with the original Firestone wide oval tires. All
documentation, including an Elite Marti Report, comes with the
sale. 3,059 miles (title reads exempt).
