Vehicle Description
This custom widebody 1974 Chevrolet C3 Corvette is powered by a
350ci engine mated to its factory 3-speed automatic transmission.
Under the hood, while mechanically stock, the reliable drivetrain
is dressed in a chrome air filter and valve covers. To keep it
cool, it is equipped with an aluminum radiator. The four
dual-piston calipers and brake booster system were replaced with
fresh units. Modifications to the body include a set of C3 L88 wide
fenders molded and slightly lowered to the body, making it 6 inches
wider than the factory. The car is finished in PPG Candy Wine Red
with a Lamborghini Grigio Gray stripe broken up by a silver line
running from bumper to bumper. Additionally, the front bumper has
been blended with the rest of the body, removing any line
separation and making it look as though the whole front clip is a
single piece. The body has been lowered for a more modern
appearance over American Racing forged two-piece polished wheels.
The staggered setup is 18x12-inch out back with 18x9-inch in the
rear, wrapped in Toyo Proxes. The C3's interior has been fully
customized while retaining the original styling. It features black
leather seats with Bentley-style double-diamond silver stitching.
The center console houses a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo with a tilt
and telescoping steering wheel. The silver carpet, seatbelts and
stitching complement the silver stripe found on the body,
separating the red from the Gunmetal.
