We are pleased to offer for sale this very nice 1968 Mustang Fastback S code Tribute GT500.
This Mustang was sold new in Canada (DSO B2), not many left, this is a rare big block canadian Fastback.
It has been fully restored in the early 90's, at this time it was converted to a GT500 tribute. There is a big folder that show receipts for parts sourced from Tony Branda, this car was built with high level of attentions to details. Every courtesy lights, dash light, glove boxe light, seat belt light, radio... everything works. This car was updated with electric antenna as well as power windows.
We bought this car in 2021, and we decided to refresh the car by removing engine/trans/diff as well as complet front end.
This Mustang was rust free but dirty, we sandblasted to bare metal the wheels well and complet floors pans/frame rails and torque boxes. Correct looking red oxyd primer was appliqued and cleared.
Engine have been disasembled for a check and reseal, new clutch and flywheel changed as preventive maintenance
Fully rebuilt diff, as well as new gas tank, fuel lines and many front end parts.
The body panel are well aligned, body is rust free, paint is still very nice with very minor scratches.
Interior is in excellent condition for 30 years old.
