1965 MUSTANG FASTBACK "RESTO-MOD SHELBY TRIBUTE"
This car was purchased from the estate of a local and longtime car
enthusiast who, we were told, had owned some very nice cars over
the years and this one is no exception. He originally purchased
this beautiful car when it was a fresh "frame-off" nut & bolt build
about 5 years ago and as most collectors and enthusiasts, it was
used very sparingly since. Stored in a climate-controlled garage
covered and on a trickle charger it honestly looks like it was just
completed yesterday and is absolutely stunning!! CHECK IT OUT

The body is extremely straight, solid and clean including the red
oxide painted floors, trunk and frame and the "Raven Black" with
Red Shelby stripe paint is slick and smooth with a deep luster and
show car shine. We just compounded, polished and added a ceramic
coating to protect the paint and preserve the shine. It is
absolutely gorgeous! All the chrome, trim and weatherstripping is
in like new condition as well. The black "Pony" bucket seat
interior was also redone new during the restoration process
including the seats, carpets, door panels, headliner, instrument
cluster and dash pad. It features a fold down rear seat, factory
center console with original shifter, wood steering wheel and an
updated Retro-Sound stereo. Powered by a healthy sounding 289 c.i.
4 bbl. engine that runs smooth and strong and is backed up by a
crisp shifting C-4 automatic transmission.
Other features include power steering, power disc brakes (front
only) dealer installed under dash air conditioning that blows ice
cold, 17"front & 18" rear American Racing "Shelby" wheels with
low-profile high-performance red-line radial tires, Flow Master
dual exhaust and it has all new steering and suspension components
and fuel and brake systems too. This is a very nicely restored and
very well done 65 Mustang Fastback Shelby Tribute that runs, drives
