No Reserve Classics is proud to present to you our 1967 Shelby
GT500 Fastback!
Now is your chance to secure your own piece of American muscle
history with this beautiful 1967 Shelby GT500! This car represents
the pinnacle of American craftsmanship and performance, capturing a
timeless symbol of power and innovation. These are the last Shelbys
made by Carroll Shelby himself before Ford took over production in
1968, making them not just cars but rare artifacts with a rich
legacy. They offer the thrill of driving and the potential for
significant appreciation over time. With their limited numbers and
iconic design, they've proven to be valuable investments that
continue to appreciate over time.
This Shelby GT500 is the real deal, never before on the market! A
three-owner Shelby, this gem has been in the possession of its last
owner for the past 40 years. With just 38,000 miles documented by
the odometer and title, this Shelby is one of the last built in
1967 before Ford's takeover and comes with extensive documentation
and history. As an early model GT500 numbered #280, it remains a
very correct original, survivor-quality example.
The exterior has been meticulously restored to its factory-correct
Dark Moss Green paint (#2039-A), with a full concourse restoration
paint job that enhances the car's timeless appeal. The iconic white
painted stripes along the Shelby hood and correct Shelby trunk,
combined with the original factory-born Mag Star wheels, have been
painstakingly restored to their original glory, capturing the
essence of this legendary machine.
The car also retains its white vinyl GT500 stripes along the sides,
original Polyglass Goodyear white letter tires, and all
factory-correct Shelby badging throughout. The original glass,
factory-stamped quarter panels, and factory original exhaust tips
further add to its authenticity. Additionally, this Shelby has a
document restoration, ensuring that all its historical records and
provenance are preserved and verified, making it not just a
remarkable car, but also a significant piece of automotive
history.
Under the hood lies the factory-correct Ford 428FE big block with
the correct heads and intake manifold, paired with the
factory-correct, numbers-matching four-speed manual transmission,
which has undergone a complete concourse restoration rebuild with
correct stampings. The motor features the factory original Cobra
Lemans valve covers, the correct dual carburetor setup, and the
original Cobra air element, all part of the Extra Cooling Package.
Additionally, the car has been upgraded with a correct 2.25"
chambered exhaust system, designed to enhance both performance and
sound. The full chrome trim has been polished to perfection, adding
a touch of brilliance to the exterior.
Inside, you'll find a fully restored Black Decor interior, where
every detail has been meticulously attended to. The interior
restoration maintains the factory-born interior, while the
installation of fully Dynamat insulation ensures a quieter and more
comfortable driving experience. All components are functional,
including the Courtesy Light Group lighting, instrument panel
gauges, radio, and the original stamped GT500 steering wheel. The
interior also features the optional SW oil pressure and voltage
gauges below the radio, a factory roll cage with the original
shoulder harnesses and Shelby lap belts, and a rare optioned
fold-down Sport-Deck Seat leading into the trunk area. The trunk
itself has been restored with the correct original felt trunk mat,
factory spare rim, and original tire.
Beneath this GT500, the concourse underbody has undergone a Stage 3
restoration to factory specs, complete with correct markings that
testify to the car's authenticity. This level of restoration
ensures that the underbody is as solid and well-preserved as the
rest of the vehicle, making this Shelby a true standout.
This stunning GT500 is not just a car, it's a true investment and a
piece of American muscle history.

DISCLAIMER:
Although this car looks absolutely stunning, please understand that
this is still a 50 year old car with imperfections as it wasn't
restored yesterday and has some mileage since the build. And due to
our inventory size, we are unable to drive every vehicle for long
distances. We do 40-60 miles between inspections, test drives, the
video, etc. We cannot guarantee that every gauge, light, window,
horn, option, function, etc. will work as it should. The mileage
listed is documented and verified by the odometer. In some cases,
it is not a representation of actual mileage on the body but the
mileage on the build. The mileage is not actual unless stated
otherwise. Please check your local state inspection requirements.
We do our best to inspect these vehicles in every detail and note
any imperfections in the ad. As with all classic cars, it will need
odds and ends down the road as you begin to drive it more often!
Many times, these vintage vehicles can sit for long periods of time
and seals harden and gaskets may begin to leak once you begin to
drive them. However, this will continue to be a sought-after
classic car that you will be proud to own and very happy to drive
in! The information contained within this ad is solely for
