Vehicle Description
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible - Factory Triple Blue Car - Fully
Restored - 350ci V8 - Automatic TH350 Transmission - Rallye Wheels
- 84k Miles Shown It's hard to go wrong with a restored '68 Camaro
that has a V8 under the hood. From the iconic styling, to the place
that the first generation Camaros have taken in the classic car
market, a Camaro like the one we present here is a great
investment. And an investment that you can have some fun with. For
your consideration is a restored triple-blue 1968 Camaro
convertible. A factory triple-blue car sounds a little
monochromatic as described, but just a glance at this car should
change your mind. LeMans Blue paint (Code U) covers the classic
lines of this car. Chrome accents like the rallye wheels with
beauty rings, and chrome bumpers at the front and rear provide some
contrast. Also providing visual interest is the soft top, provided
that you actually have the top up. The top is finished in navy blue
rather than the more common black. Other exterior highlights
include SS-style hood and trim, front and rear spoilers, wheel arch
chrome trim, chrome rocker panel trim, and driver's side mirror.
The paint was professionally applied and has even gloss and depth.
Body panels are dialed in as they should be, and all chrome trim is
in great condition. Where you want to be is in the driver's seat of
this car. Once in the driver's seat, again it's evident that this
car was restored with a discerning eye by a professional. The blue
custom buckets that you see, are the way the car would have left
the Norwood Ohio production plant. Instrumentation includes a fuel
gauge and a speedometer, while a Custom AutoSound stereo has been
added to the dashboard. Wood trim takes pride of place on the
center console, near the horseshoe shifter, and wood trimmed
three-spoke steering wheel. The 350ci V8 under the hood has been
treated to a few aftermarket goodies in the form of Hedman headers,
All-Star Performance spark plug wires, chrome valve covers,
chrome-topped air cleaner, and MSD ignition components. As you may
have noticed, the MSD Ignition box is actually mounted under the
dashboard on the passenger's side of the car. A look at the car's
underside makes it evident that the car was recently professionally
restored with all the little details taken into consideration. The
items that are immediately noticeable are the TH350 transmission,
squeaky clean fuel tank, new exhaust, and the exhaust headers.
Iconic and immediately recognizable styling, awesome color
combination, a V8 under the hood, fully restored, convertible,
classic Camaro......we could go on with positives. This triple-blue
example is a car that any Camaro or classic car fan should consider
for their own collection. Top down rides in this beauty are within
reach. Please call if interested or e-mail with specific questions.
