1969 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 FRAME-OFF RESTORED, DESIRABLE
UPGRADES!, TREMEC 5-SPEED, VINTAGE A/C This 1969 Chevelle has been
restored like new, very nice throughout! The body is rust-free and
laser straight. It looks great in factory color, Cortez Silver. The
base coat/clear coat has been color sanded to perfection. The
finish is very smooth and glossy. All of the chrome, trim, emblems
and door handles have been replaced with new. This beautiful
Chevelle also has all new weather stripping and door seals. All the
glass is very nice. It rides on a set of new Torq thrust wheels
with new BFG T/A radials, 235/60/15 up front and 255/60/15 on the
rear for that aggressive look. The engine compartment is nicely
restored and detailed with a very strong running 468 cubic inch Big
Block engine. Nicely upgraded with aluminum intake and dual feed
carburetor, aluminum heads, ceramic coated headers, HEI ignition
and 4-core radiator with dual electric fans. All of these
components look new and are properly installed. It features power
steering, power brakes and Vintage A/C. The interior is new from
the carpet to the headliner. The seats have new upholstery and
cushions. The door panels, armrest bases and kick panels are new as
well. In between the bucket seats is a factory console and a
5-speed shifter. Sitting in the drivers seat and looking forward,
the dash and gauges are like new, there is an old school Stewart
Warner tach mounted on the tilt steering column with a Sure Grip
steering wheel. Mounted under the dash is Stewart Warner 3 pod oil,
temp and voltage gauges. The dash pad is very nice, no cracks. It
also comes equipped with a retro radio, front and rear seatbelts.
The undercarriage is just as nice as the top side, the floors are
all clean metal. The front end has been rebuilt, the bushings, ball
joints, shocks and steering components have been replaced. In the
back the trailing arms springs and shocks were replaced. It has a
12-bolt posi rear end with 3:73 gears, new stainless steel gas tank
and straps. It has upgraded disc brakes on all 4 corners and
tubular A-arms up front. This Chevelle has dual exhaust with the
correct exhaust tips. The bottom of the engine is clean as well as
the Tremec 5-speed transmission. The E-brake assembly is complete
and working. The trunk is all clean metal. It is nicely detailed
with a trunk mat, spare tire and new weather stripping. This 1969
Chevelle has the looks and performs as a muscle car should!!
