The Chevrolet SSR, built from 2003-2006, marked the beginning of a
period of automotive design where modern automobiles have nod to
classic designs. Modeled after the "Advance Design" trucks produced
by General Motors in the 1940s, the SSR design was ultra modern
with a retro vibe.
This 2005 SSR is an ultra-low milage example of what is regarded by
many as the premier year of the model In 2005, the SSR was offered
with a 6.0L LS2 V8 that pushed 395hp. This 2005, with just over
1,200 original miles on the odometer was a well-equipped build that
was evidently purchased new with collecting in mind. This SSR is
striking in its factory Aqua Blur Metallic paint. All around the
truck, it is obvious that this truck has been cared for well during
its entire life. Equipped with chrome wheels, 6-way heated power
seats, steering wheel stereo controls, Bose 6-disc stereo system,
center console instrument gauge cluster and more, this SSR is a
fantastic collector's piece. Throughout the interior, including the
ebony leather interior, the truck shows like the day is was
delivered new. SSRs are rapidly becoming highly collectable and
low-mileage examples like this are ideal additions to any
collection.
