Vehicle Description
On the showroom floor now is this sweet 1968 Ford Mustang! Dressed
in red with a white interior and black decal "C-stripes" to boot,
this one is presents very nicely to the eye. Additionally, this one
comes with factory air conditioning! 1968 was the Mustang's second
year of its first redesign, which saw the Mustang grow more
muscular and aggressive in appearance and composure. 1968 saw the
addition of new chrome ornamentation, increased safety with a
two-spoke energy-absorbing steering wheel, along with newly
introduced shoulder belts. Other changes included the removal of
the "FORD" from the hood, the movement of the rearview mirror from
frame to windshield, and the addition of "C-Stripe" graphics to the
passenger doors. This '68 model is powered by a 289 C.I. V8 that
breathes through a 2-barrel carburetor for easy power delivery.
Torque from that 289 gets to the pavement through the use of a
3-speed automatic transmission, shifting smoothly and quickly. The
exterior red and black paint scheme is gorgeous laid out over a
body that presents as nice and straight. ON this '68 Mustang, those
black "C-Stripes" really stand out contrasting against the red
paint! The interior is just as nice as the exterior, shown in white
vinyl and black carpeting and trim. The bench seats are very
comfortable, only made more so by a factory fold-down center
armrest! Options on this '68 include factory air conditioning,
power steering, an AM pushbutton radio, foglights, adjustable
seats, and a nice-sounding dual exhaust system. Grip on this
Mustang is provided by some "SporTrac GT500S" RWL tires on top of
some classic tribute Mustang GT wheels. If you're in the market for
one great, classic '60s cruiser that acts as a shining homage to
the history of the Blue Oval, then we might have what you're
looking for right here.
