1997 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. "Rebuilt" title in hand. VIN: 1G1YY22G1V5104453. This is a running and driving project. Odometer shows 98k miles, Carfax verified mileage. 5.7 liter LS1 V8 - runs excellent, no issues, good oil pressure. Here are the known mechanical issues: Automatic transmission (will not shift into 3rd gear). The A/C does not blow cold. Both catalytic converters are missing. The battery usually has to be jumped to start - might just need a good charge (OReillys battery, 2 years old). Left front tire have a slow leak and go flat after sitting a couple days (all 4 tires have good tread). Has an ABS light on and the Traction Control light is on. Cosmetic issues: This car needs a complete paint job, period. Will need a passenger front fender (see pic). The front bumper is damaged on the lower passenger side. The removable, transparent, Targa roof panel has a broken spot (see pic). The windshield is cracked. The driver's seat has 2 areas with split seams (see pic). The interior needs a real good cleaning. This car was totaled in 1999 and repaired back to factory specs - therefore, it has a "Rebuilt" title. Here's a quick summary of the car: It runs very good, idles well, revs up good, no leaks, runs cool. I have driven it down the highway (could only get up to 55 or so due to the transmission problem) but it drives ok and the brakes stop good. Everything on this car works except for the AC is not cold. All of the lights and gauges work as well as the wipers and horn. The car is located in Denison, Texas. The price is set at $3,900 and is not negotiable. No holds. Cash only, no payments, no trades. You can call or text 940 632 9454 to discuss any other details. I'd recommend trailering this car home, due to the transmission problem and the lack of catalytic converters.
