Vehicle Description
Zoom presents this beautiful little 1977 Mini 1000 produced during
the Leyland years in a fresh coat of British Racing Green. Brought
in from England and purchased from Monte Carlo Mini by the current
owner in 2006 who has since completed a full frame-off restoration
of the car leaving it in absolutely pristine condition. Aside from
being fully blasted and powdercoated, the Mini is powered by a
upgraded 4 cylinder 1380ci engine built by MinComp (less than
100mi) and is managed with a 4 speed manual gearbox with "final
drive" gear. In addition, the following new parts and features
include - a brand new muffler - new 8.4 disc conversion for the
front brakes and Cooper S drums for the back - new Mercedes Black
retractable "tear top" roof - new bumpers & grill with all new
rubber - upgraded starter. Inside, the car sports its original
beige cloth & vinyl seats all in fantastic condition with new mats
& carpeting. Please note that this is an import model made to the
British spec and therefore has a right-hand drive setup. As old
Mini's need to breathe regularly, this little piece of art is not
currently running as it has been garaged and sitting for the past
year. The tank holds non-ethanol gas, so the owner doesn't believe
any gunk or foul damage is present. These minis also came without a
full dash in order to allow each owner to customize to their own
liking, which is no different here, and will need to have the dash
panels finished, as well as a few minor interior plastics. The mini
sits on 12" faux Mini Light rims with the original wheels included
with sale. Priced to sell, a small investment will bring this piece
of British history to showroom condition. The Mini is currently
located in Auburndale, FL with a clean Florida title. Call Chris
