Vehicle Description
STK 3396 1997 Toyota Celsior
This 1997 Celsior is a Toyota product that was built and sold in
Japan. It is virtually the same as a Lexus LS 400 sans the fact
that you drive from the right-hand side. It also has a few more
features. The Celsior was available to import into the US after it
reached the age of 25. It then had to pass stringent government
standards before being sold. This all-original 1997 Celsior is
licensed and titled in North Carolina and has been certified by the
Japanese Automobile Service Association (JAAA) as to correct
mileage and condition. The odometer reads just over 75,000 km (47k
miles).
Both the original White Metallic exterior and the Taupe leather
interior are in very good condition. Safety/convenience features
include front/side cushion airbags, climate-controlled A/C, power
heated memory seats, power tinted windows and glass sunroof.
Additional features include tilt wheel, cruise, power locks,
anti-theft, remote keyless entry and automatic air purifier system.
Technology adds a NAV/Driver Information center and premium
7-speaker AM/FM/CD 6-disc changer sound system. The most unique
feature is the Electronic Toll Collection System that speaks to you
in Japanese upon starting the car.
The Celsior is powered by the Lexus DOHC 4.0L 32-valve V8 that
outputs 260bhp/270lb-ft and is backed by a 4-speed/OD automatic
transmission and rear wheel drive. The luxury sedan is equipped
with power steering, and 4-wheel ABS disc brakes. The Celsior is
equipped with a Blitz STS (Suspension Tuning System), an
aftermarket product that allows for separate air-spring pressure to
be dialed in for both the front and rear suspension. The chassis is
also fitted with anti-roll bars and performance Bridgestone radials
are mounted on 18" BBS alloy wheels. This is truly a unique luxury
Celsior to drive and enjoy every day. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
IS".
