Vehicle Description
This 1931 Ford Victoria is a full steel-bodied restomod that takes
this Henry Ford metal and gives it a full driver-ready attitude. So
check out the awesome V8, overdrive transmission, custom A/C
interior, powerful stance, and upgraded chassis that all make up
quite an alluring total package.
This is a true classic Murray steel body, and so even as they are
transforming this car, they treated it with the respect it earned
over 90+ years. You see it in the whine of the bumpers, the way the
doors align, and the clean look of the new cloth roof cover. And
the details are nice everywhere from the goose radiator mascot to
the foldable trunk carrier on the rear. So not only was the
Victoria a premium Ford back in the day, but it also continues to
have a nice distinction today. Part of this stand-out style is the
Aurora Red and black. It's a period-correct color combination, but
the metallic radiance in both colors really lets people know this
is a restomod. Of course, they also knew that from the awesome
stance that comes from Rocket front wheels and wide rear tires on
competition-style American Racing Torq Thrust alloys. The overall
impression is a quality car with some carefully crafted
attitude.
The black interior shows the right mix of style and function. It
starts with the modern front bucket seats. They have the kind of
bolstering to give plenty of comfort, and the black leather with
ostrich insert is a true master's touch. The rear bench and door
panels are made to match. And everything from plush carpeting to
headliner show quality was a priority in the build. This likes
being a proper cruiser, and so you have some useful upgrades like
the LEDs in the headliner and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning.
Plus, we love the way this was built to be a better driver. For
example, you have a classic look to the four-spoke steering wheel,
but it now has a nicer grip and is mounted on a tilt column. And
while the dash has the classic Model A-style appearance, the gauges
are a well-integrated upgrade to a comprehensive AutoMeter readout
package.
The engine bay is stuffed with more power than you could get in
1931. This is a later 302 cubic-inch V8 from a Fox body Mustang,
and we're told it's even been stroked to 347 cubic-inches total. We
also can feel this is a powerful pony motor because there are nice
upgrades like aluminum heads, a Summit Racing aluminum intake,
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and shorty headers feeding the
dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. There's even a more
aggressive cam to upgrade the performance and rumble. As you look
underneath, you can really see how this was made to be a confident
driver. The classic body is riding on a modern chassis, and it now
includes tubular front A-arms, a four-link rear, QA1 coilovers, and
a Currie 9-inch diff. There's also rack & pinion steering, power
brakes, and Wilwood drilled & front discs. Plus, this is great for
cruising near or far thanks to a four-speed automatic transmission
with highway-ready overdrive.
This is the classic steel-bodied premium Ford coupe with plenty of
added style and substance. So if you love to enjoy an icon to the
fullest, you know you can't miss this deal. Call today!!!
