can be intimidating when considering entering the classic car
market. You want to enjoy all the perks of owning a classic car,
cruising to car shows, weekend road trips, or even driving it to
work on a nice day and of course, all the adoration and thumbs up
from onlookers are just part of the fun of the ownership of a
specialty car. However, if you have never owned a vehicle with a
carburetor, drum brakes, manual steering, etc. understand these
cars start, drive and brake much differently than modern cars and
can be more than some potential hobbyists are signing on for with
their fun car ownership. The 1995 Ford Mustang GT Convertible
featured here is the perfect balance of owning a classic Mustang
yet possessing the modern amenities that will make it more
enjoyable to drive. This Mustang is very striking with a Crystal
White finish and white convertible top. The paint exhibits as
factory original and while it has a few minor blemishes as expected
from a nearly 30-year-old vehicle the paint has been well
maintained and shines with a nice luster. The top is in nice shape
showing only some minor soiling but is otherwise free from any rips
or tears and features a rear glass unit equipped with an electric
defroster. The wheels have been upgraded with a set of modern 2006
Ford Mustang GT rims wrapped in a set of Pirelli P235/55ZR17
high-speed radial tires which is a nice subtle touch that keeps
this 'Stang looking current. Inside the interior features Opal Gray
leather upholstery. The front seats have some creasing and wear,
but the material remains soft and comfortable with some light color
fade. The carpet has some minor wear and a few light stains but is
free of any pulls or wear spots. The leather-wrapped steering wheel
features touch controls for the cruise control. The factory sport
instrumentation features the 150 MPH speedometer, tachometer,
coolant temp, oil pressure and voltage gauges, and a dash-mounted
digital clock. The factory Premium Sound AM/FM Cassette deck is
still present along with a factory CD player, so your music options
are wide open for the source of your cruising soundtrack, either
breaking out those favorite CDs or your road trip mix tape from
college. This convertible also features factory air conditioning,
power windows and locks, as well the remote trunk release. The
trunk floor is clean and rust-free, and the factory felt, and the
trunk floor covering are present. Under the hood is the classic
Mustang powerplant the 5.0 V8 factory rated at 215 hp and 285 lb-ft
of torque. This engine is fuel injected with electronic controls
and starts easily with smooth acceleration. The engine compartment
is clean and well kept with the factory decals and assembly
markings still present and a new battery has been installed. Power
is transferred through a Ford AOD 3-speed automatic transmission
with overdrive to the locking rear differential with 2.73 rear
gears. The chassis and floorboards are clean and free of any rust.
This GT features a power-assisted rack and pinion steering with
anti-lock four-wheel power disc brake system. This Ford Mustang GT
features all the phenomena that make owning a classic Mustang
something special, with its spirited V8, bucket seats, and related
sports options along with the drop-top. It is modern enough that
operates with the same ease as your daily driver yet is still
welcome as a classic at your local car shows and cruise in's.
