This 2009 Superformance GT40 is powered by a Keith Craft twin-turbo
427ci SBF long-block engine with 1,200hp. It is equipped with a
Dallas Performance-built twin-turbo kit, DP air to water
intercooler setup, DP billet intake and manifold, and DP custom AEM
ECU. The paddle-shifter 6-speed automatic transmission features a
KCM custom twin-disc clutch with exacting authenticity to the
original (using original molds from Ford). The car rides on a
monocoque Ricardo chassis and 6-speed transaxle link suspension
coilovers with adjustable compression and a rebound remote
reservoir. The custom suede interior features MOMO electronics, air
conditioning, a Passport 360 radar system, a retractable GPS
screen, iPod/iPhone docking DVD, stereo with subwoofer and electric
mirrors. It rolls on Superformance BRM-style real knock-off wheels.
Over $480,000 was invested in this GT40, with custom engine work by
Dallas Performance, the premier house for turbo and supercharged
engine design and build. This GT40 is drivable and streetable, with
all the creature comforts of a modern car. It is in the Shelby
