This 1967 Ford Mustang was built to the specs of an official
licensed Eleanor Tribute Edition. This vehicle was granted an
official license by Eleanor Licensing LLC and a Letter of
Authenticity was issued for Eleanor's character image as it
appeared in the 2000 remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds." Along with the
official nameplate and emblems for this vehicle, it also has
received a Deluxe Marti Report. This Eleanor is powered by a Ford
Racing 351W engine stroked to 427ci and mated to a T5 5-speed
manual transmission. This engine was built with a Ford Performance
polished crank, TrickFlow aluminum heads forged H-beam rods, JE
flat-top pistons and a roller rocker cam, then - for the ultimate
look - topped with a Borla 8-stack fuel-injection system controlled
by a Holley Terminator X. It is finished off with custom one-off
Shelby Cobra valve covers. This powerhouse is cooled by an aluminum
radiator with dual electric fans. Underneath all this is a custom
Milodon 8-quart oil pan, and Hooker headers with a 3-inch
Flowmaster exhaust. The interior has been redone and Procar racing
seats have been added, along with the necessary "Gone in 60
Seconds" Go-Baby-Go shifter and NOS bottle. A 1967 factory console
holds the RetroSound Bluetooth radio and surrounds the manual
shifter. The trunk has been trimmed and finished and houses the
relocated battery. The suspension has been upgraded to a Heidts
independent front suspension with coilover shocks and is paired
with a Ford 9-inch rear end with posi-traction. The Mustang
Unlimited rear suspension gives this Eleanor the perfect ride
height. Along with a heavy-duty front sway bar and Wilwood 4-wheel
disc brakes, the Carroll Shelby 17-inch racing wheels and
BFGoodrich Comp tires give this Mustang the classic movie car
appearance.
