Vehicle Description
This custom all-steel 1956 Ford F-750 known as "Big Job" is merged
with a new 2006 Chevy 3500 cab chassis. This truck is a one-off,
one-of-a-kind extreme build powered by a new stock 2006 Chevy
6.6-liter Duramax Diesel engine with an Allison 6-speed automatic
transmission. The engine is equipped with a Duramax Diesel banks
inner cooler, Banks Exhaust Edge Juice Attitude and Allison
transmission, and is equipped with StrongArm control arms, RideTech
air ride with three ride heights and mechanical air pump, as well
as stainless-steel air-cooled rotors. "Big Job" has an all-steel
body with no fiberglass and is finished in AFI Mazda Velocity Red
Metallic. The frame rail boxed for additional strength is painted
gloss black with two polyurethane fuel tanks, 30 gallons in the
front and 20 gallons in the rear. The exterior is equipped with a
B&W gooseneck ball towing hitch. This truck has wider custom
front and rear fenders, running boards with stainless-steel runners
and side exhaust cutouts, as well as a custom steel roll pan,
original grille, door handles and badging, all in chrome. It also
features X-sighting lighting, LED taillights mounted flush and
retractable Hummer mirrors. The interior features a Vintage Air
system, Alpine GPS and satellite radio with a 7-inch HD screen and
a backup camera, as well as Cadillac Escalade bucket seats
(heat/air/massage) doors, kick panels and headliner all in soft
black leather. It also features auto-start, power windows with the
remote fob, alarm system and a tilt steering wheel. The headliner
is completed in soft black leather with a pair of Kicker amps
powering the components, 5.5-inch Kicker speakers behind
leather-covered door panels and two Alpine 9-inch video monitors
mounted in front bucket-seat headrests. It is equipped with three
drop-down battery boxes with two encased wire boxes (fuse
panel/storage). The 162-inch wheelbase utilizes stainless-steel
SSBC brakes with 4-piston calipers, pads and rotors. This truck
rides on a set of 26-inch 8-lug direct bolt-on polished and forged
aluminum wheels. SEMA 2010 Car and Driver Third Day Best Pick and
featured in Diesel World Magazine in March 2012. "Big Job" has
