This custom 1970 Gen 1 Ford Bronco 4x4 nicknamed "Goose" recently
has a full custom frame-off build. Goose was displayed at the 2022
SEMA Show featuring Precision Replacement Parts' newest product
line of seals specifically designed for classic Broncos. Goose was
the result of a co-collaboration between Tre5 Customs, IKandy
Paintworks and Paradise Customs. With over 1,400 hours spent on
fabrication, body and paintwork, the craftsmanship is of the
highest tier. The power plant consists of a Gen 3 5.0-liter Coyote
crate engine mated to a Ford 10-speed (10R80) automatic
transmission with an Atlas twin stick dual-range transfer case.
Everything in the engine bay, from the custom-made cold-air intake
to the remote oil reservoir, was designed to work seamlessly with
every detail from the engine performance to the aesthetic
appearance that accompanies all Tre5 and IKandy Paintworks builds.
Additional features include ceramic-coated headers that mate up to
the custom Borla stainless-steel exhaust that provides the
head-turning notes upon cold start and outstanding acceleration.
The total 5.5-inch lift comes from the 2-inch body lift with an
11-spring 3.5-inch suspension lift. The lift, along with the James
Duff T-Rex radius arms, provides the required room needed for the
35-inch Mickey Thompson AT tires wrapped around U.S. Mags slotted
Indy polished aluminum 17x9, 5x5.5 wheels. The wheels are then
mounted to a Dana 44 differential up front with a Ford 9-inch rear
end sporting 4.10 gears and 31-spline axles, along with a Truetrac
limited slip differential. Slotted disc brakes are on all four
corners with a Wilwood master cylinder and booster to ensure proper
stopping performance. To handle the larger tires, it required a
significant horsepower increase, and the added height power
steering was a must, as were the AMP power steps. The exterior was
painted with what is being described as an elevated Sea Foam Green
with the white painted stripe embedded seamlessly into the paint,
matching the white hardtop and fully wraparound red-accented
pinstriping. To keep with the color scheme, the interior custom
roll cage was painted to match the top, when the weather demands
driving with the top removed. The hardtop was fabricated to have
four billet retractable lifting points, which, when paired with the
Bluetooth Garage Smart winch system, lifts and stores the top
without any need for tools, and requires only minutes to go from
hardtop on to hardtop off. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
