Launched for 1961 and offered through 1967 with America's first 4-door convertible body style since the early 1950s, Lincoln's reimagined Continental combined ultra-modern styling with an ultra-low stance, making it ideal for a full Resto-Mod treatment. This custom example from 1964 features a GM L76 V8 engine, combining the all-aluminum LS2 short-block with free-flowing LS3 heads, matched to a GM 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission. Developing 490hp and 490 ft/lbs of torque at the crank, the engine features deleted variable valve timing, a hot Corvette cam, Sanderson ceramic-coated headers, and a custom tune.
