1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS in Scottsdale, Arizona
Original rust-free body stripped to bare metal before commencing
Resto-Mod conversion. Over 2,000 hours put in by The Mack Brothers
of Vernon, British Columbia. Powered by a 525hp GM crate LS3 engine
mated to a TREMEC 5-speed transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction
rear with 31-spline axles, this Pro-Touring custom build started
with an Art Morrison front clip suspension with power rack &
pinion. The rear has custom made 3/16 frame rails, frame connectors
and mini-tubs to accommodate the 305 tires. The rear suspension is
a 4-link with Panhard bar, Detroit Swivel links were used for
smooth articulation. This build has adjustable coilovers front and
rear and with power Baer brakes with S6 piston calipers, 13-inch
cross-drilled rotors, master cylinder with power booster. The
wheels are 10x19 Schotts with 305 Nitto tires; fronts are 9x18
Nitto tires. The vehicle is equipped with a new GM wiring harness
for the engine management and has a-steel stainless air intake, as
well as stainless one-off headers and exhaust. Other options
include custom-made front inner fender wells, push-button start, a
Vintage Air system, power windows, tilt wheel with custom steering
wheel, 7-speed wiper motor, custom interior lighting, Dakota
Digital gauges and a power antenna. Other options include a power
e-brake, polished custom aluminum radiator and radiator support.
The body was repainted in its original Marina Blue and has a
factory-original replacement blue interior.
