This custom limited-production 1972 De Tomaso Super Pantera is No.
12 of 19 built by Gary Hall. This car was built for Thomas McMahon
Ford in 1980s for $190,000, plus the car. It has a Gurney Eagle
351ci V8 engine with polished aluminum heads and four Weber 48
carburetors. The 5-speed ZF gearbox is polished and detailed, along
with a smoothed, painted and mirrored engine compartment. The
1,800-degree Cerakoted headers run through the transom. The
previous exhaust openings have been filled and painted. The
exterior is finished in a new $30,000 paint job. It's bright yellow
with black metallic on lower panels with pinstripes and Pantera
lettering as originally done. The wheels are Halls Custom
ultra-polished aluminum with new Michelin tires. There's also a
front lift assist. The interior has lowered floorboards with custom
GT40 tribute-style seats with suede leather inserts and headliner.
Yellow Pantera seat belts, custom mats and Alpine Bluetooth stereo.
The cooling system has been updated with all SS lines and steel
braided connections. Mirrored radiator cover and hood inserts. The
electrical system is updated to a late-model fuse box. It has power
mirrors, upgraded motors in doors and headlights. The car has been
gone through from front to rear. Everything works; the air uses
134A refrigerant.
