This custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Resto-Mod started with a
rust-free body and has been professionally restored and
custom-built with modern technology. It was completed in November
2022. Featuring professional bodywork with laser-straight body
panels, this custom SS is powered by a new Chevy Performance
electronically fuel-injected 502 HO crate engine rated at 461hp and
558 ft/lbs of torque. The engine is paired with a 200R4 4-speed
automatic overdrive transmission feeding the power to a 12-bolt
posi-traction rear end held in place with a 4-link rear suspension.
The front suspension features 2-inch drop spindles and tubular
control arms. This Chevelle rides on 20-inch wheels wrapped in
Petlas Velox Sport tires. It also features 4-wheel power disc
brakes, power steering and Hooker headers feeding a 3-inch
stainless-steel exhaust system. The black leather bucket-seat
interior features a Vintage Air system, a tilt steering column and
a center console with a floor shifter. The trunk is also trimmed
with leather panels. The undercarriage and frame are both finished
in gloss black paint, color-matched to the body.
