This 1970 Dodge Challenger is the recipient of complete
nut-and-bolt restoration. Powered by a Gen III "BGE" 392ci HEMI
engine with 492hp and equipped with a Holley intake, Holley
Terminator X engine management, COMP cam, TTI ceramic-coated
headers and 3-inch exhaust. The HEMI is paired with a TREMEC TKX
5-speed transmission with a pistol-grip shifter. Riding on
Gerst/QA1 tubular K-member, tubular upper and lower A-arms with
adjustable QA1 coilovers on the front and rear, as well as
Gerst/QA1 4-link, Mopar 8.75-inch rear end with a 489 case and 3.55
gears with posi-traction. Stopping power is provided by a billet
master cylinder, 6-piston Wilwood front brakes and 4-piston Wilwood
rear brakes. It is also equipped with front and rear sway bars and
rack & pinion power steering. Finished in Plum Crazy Purple with
flat black stripes, this Challenger rolls on Budnik Magnum 18x8
front and 18x10 rear wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires. The new
stock-style interior features LizardSkin sound-deadener, purple
stitching, Flaming River tilt column, Vintage Air system, Dakota
Digital gauges, Alpine Bluetooth stereo, and Infinity speakers and
amp. Finished in December 2022.
