For Sale at Auction: 1967 Ford Mustang in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

This custom 1967 Ford Mustang fastback Resto-Mod is powered by Ford's 427ci side-oiler big-block engine with dual-quad carburetion. It was professionally built and produces well over 600hp backed to an upgraded TREMEC T56 5-speed manual transmission. This rotisserie-restored example with excellent body lines and panel gaps is finished in a two-stage base coat/clear coat Candy Red paint with white GT500 stripes, all color-sanded and polished to show-quality luster. The exterior is equipped with a Shelby GT500 side scoops, scooped hood and trunk lid, along with a Shelby taillight assembly, as well as an inboard driving light grille assembly and GT500 badging. The interior features black factory bucket seats, a factory fold-down rear seat and side vents, upgraded AutoMeter gauges, Shelby steering wheel and dash badging, Shelby single-hoop roll bar and safety harness belts and a radio delete plate. The sun visor was signed by Carrol Shelby. The underside features a 9-inch rear end with 3.73 gears, with subframe connectors tying the body together for rigidity to handle the increased power and performance. Power steering provides comfort and better handling, while stopping is achieved with an upgraded 4-wheel power disc brake system. This Mustang rolls on custom Shelby-inspired 17-inch wheels with three bar spinners, wrapped in larger performance tires.
