Vehicle Description
This 1968 Chevrolet C10 custom fleetside short-bed pickup is a
complete show-quality custom truck built by Gortsema Fabrication, a
Washington State Hot Rod Hall of Fame inductee and chosen as the
builder of the year in 2019. The expertly worked body is finished
with a two-tone Majestic Mint/white two-stage base/clear coat. The
stock frame is equipped with a large HD front sway bar, 2-inch drop
spindles, and upgraded power front disc brakes clamping on drilled
and slotted rotors. This C10 pickup is powered by a modern
electronically fuel-injected 5.3-liter LS 325hp V8 engine mated to
a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The engine
bay has a custom engine cover, fan shroud and inner fender panels.
There's also a custom rear-mounted 17-gallon fuel tank, aluminum
radiator, 2.5-inch dual exhaust system and power steering. Putting
the power to the ground is an updated Ford 9-inch rear end with
3.43 gears and adjustable Panhard bar. The custom TMI interior
features adjustable bucket seats, a dash cover, all stock gauges
with an in-dash tachometer, tilt column with sport steering wheel,
center console with cup holders and a Vintage Air system. Other
features include shoulder harness seat belts, AM/FM digital radio
with stock-looking faceplate and four speakers. The bed is trimmed
in custom oak wood, stained black with clear coat. The dropped
suspension provides an aggressive stance for this C10, which is
riding on American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in Bridgestone
Potenza high-performance tires (245-45 R17 front and 275-45 R18
rear).
