This custom 1957 Chevrolet Nomad is powered by a 454ci
fuel-injected 7.4-liter Vortec MK5 engine with 400hp and features a
polished factory intake and valve covers, painless wiring harness,
K&N air filter, Moroso oil pan, Vintage Air front runner
serpentine drive system, custom ceramic-coated headers, Be Cool
polished aluminum radiator support with polished aluminum shroud,
polished air conditioning condenser and polished reservoir tanks,
and a Vintage Air system with custom stainless lines. It is
equipped with a 4L80E transmission, a custom aluminum fuel tank
with a high-pressure electric fuel pump, dual exhaust with
Flowmaster mufflers, 2-inch dropped spindles and Wilwood disc
brakes (rotors and calipers). In the back is a Pro 4-link
suspension that supports a Ford 9-inch 3.70:1 ratio and locking
posi-traction rear differential. This 1957 beauty also has power
windows, an Ididit chrome tilt steering column, Billet Waterfall
steering wheel and Dakota Digital gauges, with a Ciadella blue and
a white interior. The exterior is finished in Fiji Blue Pearl
Metallic and the roof was painted with Alberta White Pearl
(Tri-Coat), all with Sikkens product Autowave Waterborne paint, and
the car rolls on Foose wheels with Cooper tires and 214 completely
rechromed pieces of chrome. The computer is tucked away under the
left front fender and two gel batteries are tucked away under the
right front fender. Both have been positioned for easy access. This
Nomad has received a full nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration.
Every part on this car was removed and restored or replaced. The
frame was completely stripped, sandblasted, primed and painted with
Por 15. It has gone through a 10-year complete professional
restoration with approximately 2,800 hours of work and was driven
