For Sale: 1932 Ford Roadster in Arlington, Texas

Vehicle Description

1932 Ford Hi-Boy Roadster

The 1932 Ford has a special place in automotive history but not just because of the initial success Henry Ford was having with his cars. These classics are also the base of some of the coolest Street Rods in the world. When the street rodding craze started the '32 Ford was a go to choice and that remains the same even today. While there are many out there not all '32s are created equal. Looking over this Hiboy you can tell a ton of hard work and love went into the build. It utilizes the best of the best and has some cool traditional style features that really make it stand out from the rest. The steel Brookeville body is in excellent condition and features a two tone Blue Jean upper half with a Tuxedo Black lower. They are separated by laser straight Red pinstriping which is a nice accent. The removable Rod Tops Black top has real back glass and is very easy to put in place. It also comes with a set of side curtains. The car has the large chrome headlights up front and in back are LED tear drop taillights. Next to the windshield is a working cowl vent that opens/closes like it would originally. The car rides on a set of chrome reverse wheels with Wide white wall tires.

You see so many street rods nowadays with crate Chevy motors so it is very cool that with this build they opted for a more traditional set up with a 239ci 24 stud Flathead V8 motor. It really makes the car stand out and the 8BA motor runs great. It has been fitted with an aftermarket cam, dual carburetors, Navarro heads, a MSD ignition, and Fenton headers. It is paired with a 5 speed manual transmission to send power back to the Ford 9 inch rear end. The car has disc brakes under all 4 corners but Buick brake covers were added in front for a vintage look. It has a 3 inch drop axle front end and all of the exposed suspension components are nicely polished. A Red top Optima battery provides power and has been relocated and hidden behind the seat.

Inside the car has custom upholstery completed by Altom interiors out of Mesquite, TX. It has Black bench seat with a tuck and roll style finish. The dash is nicely painted in Blue and topped off with White face gauges including a tachometer and digital odometer. The banjo style Grant steering wheel has a great look and is wrapped in Black leather. The shifter is routed through the floor where you will also find the emergency brake. The trunk is all nicely finished out and it has a electric deck lid.

This very cool Hiboy has a nice combo of traditional hot rodding with modern features making it a great car to cruise around in.

You couldn't replicate the car for the asking price of $58,500.00!
