Vehicle Description
This 2004 Ford Excursion has a strong custom turbodiesel powerhouse
and a look that would make you think the SVT Lightning had a big
SUV, brother. So if you love them big, custom, powerful, useful,
and awesome, this is the one for you.
At first glance, you can already tell this is no ordinary
Excursion. The Tuxedo Back Gloss and the matte silver lower section
are both dark and sophisticated. Plus, the addition of the red
pinstripe separating the two gives this the feeling of what the
A-Team would use if they needed a tactical vehicle today. This dark
side custom look takes a ton of detail work - including the door
handles, bumpers, and trim all blacked out. And the upgraded
20-inch wheels are a terrific addition to the midnight style. The
custom front end and hood add even more bravado to the Excursion's
already beefy look. It's attractive and custom but not perfect, and
that's how this one is meant to be. Even the model name Excursion
tells you this one deserves to be out on the road. So it might be
an awesome custom, but it never wants to stop being useful. That's
why you have full running boards, a versatile three-piece tailgate,
and a proper tow hitch.
The interior continues this Ford's full custom look. The black
leather seats keep the exterior's dark attitude flowing inside, and
the red returns on the contrast stitching. Plush carpeting, an
upgraded headliner, and limo-fade tint add to the custom luxury
cruiser feeling. While the first two rows of bucket seats with
armrests might be called captain's chairs, the driver will feel
like an absolute king. After all, you're in full command of loaded
factory features like a power seat, power windows, power locks,
heated seat, cup holder center console, and power adjusting pedals.
Not only do you have an automatic climate control system, but also
the rear seats have their HVAC controls, so you only have to worry
about keeping yourself feeling good. This one has terrific custom
features, like the Sony AM/FM/CD touchscreen. There is also a TV
entertainment system in the overhead console. We also love a good
Excursion because it's one of the few vehicles with three full rows
of seating, and there's still plenty of room left in the cargo area
for all your gear. It makes for a terrific SUV for everything from
tailgating to big road trips. And part of this big hauling
capability is because what's under the hood easily lets you take
all the fun along on the road.
It's not just that this Excursion has diesel power. We're told this
one has had a big investment to deliver serious muscle. The
information includes a new 6.0-liter block professionally built by
Asheville Engineering about 15k miles ago. It includes a custom
cam, ported heads, a beefier turbo, upgraded injectors, and fuel
rails. It's said to be capable of 1000 horsepower but is tuned to
675 now for better daily use. There is a full spec sheet we can
provide, but we don't have dyno sheets or receipts for full
verification of this info. We know this one feels like there were
big investments in big power when you take it out on the road. And
the five-speed automatic transmission was also said to be upgraded
to handle the added muscle. So you have serious power in a
seriously stout package. And features like power steering,
four-wheel power disc brakes, and upgraded suspension with Bilstein
shocks make it everyday comfortable. It can also eat up the highway
miles with nice features like cruise control and overdrive.
This is the one machine that can tow a showstopper or steal all the
attention all on its own. So you know something this interesting
and powerful won't stay long in our showroom. Call now!
