Mechanical
Our Corvette currently has a modified 350 cubic inch small block
Chevrolet engine #3970010 that looks good with its chrome Chevrolet
script valve covers, aluminum intake and four-barrel carb, chrome
open element air cleaner assembly, aftermarket distributor,
aftermarket headers, chrome alternator, with all sitting in a clean
and detailed engine compartment.
That engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and sounds
great with the dual exhaust system that exits through the rear
valance and rides nicely on the alloy performance wheels that are
wrapped in black sidewall tires.
Interior
The black interior has twin front bucket seats, matching door
panels, black carpets on the floors and black Corvette floor mats
insulating the cabin, black dashboard with all the correct factory
gauges and controls, sporty wood steering wheel, center console
housing the 4-speed on the floor that moves effortlessly as you
change gears, the center dash with the clock, and the uniquely
positioned vertical radio.
There's a black convertible top that folds neatly behind the seats
and under the factory cover to complete the look.
Exterior
Our 1964 has had repaint in a sharp gloss black that has been well
kept and is in great condition and looks like it should on the
open-air roadster.
The chrome and stainless are very nice also, the glass is in great
shape all around, as is the front and rear chrome bumpers. This
Sting Ray has tons of curb appeal to go along with its
pedigree.

The 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible we have here at Skyway
Classics is one of those mid-year convertibles that is arguably one
of the best Corvette's ever made and ours is functional, reliable,
drivable, and is truly a sight to see.
