The first of the E24 6 series BMW debuted in 1976 replacing the E9 in the "big coupe" segment of the lineup. It came to be know as "the shark" with its rakish front end and quickly established itself on the world stage as a Grand Tourer with a big dose of sporting character. Offered with a silky smooth and powerful inline 6 cylinder engine it upped BMW's game combining a new level of luxury with its already established sport sedan reputation. The series saw continuous refinement through its thirteen year run.
This final edition 1989 635CSi is a two owner survivor sporting a mere 84,000 miles, logged mostly by its original Texas owner through 2021. This is an unrestored example that is fully loaded and in excellent overall mechanical and cosmetic condition. All systems are operational; it needs nothing to be enjoyed as a collectible classic or daily driver. As a bonus, it is drop dead gorgeous.
