Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1965 Chevrolet Bel Air for
your consideration. This beautiful Classic American vehicle is
powered by a hefty 396 V8 engine mated to a firm shifting Turbo-400
automatic transmission. The drivetrain is mechanically sound and
has no issues routing power from the engine to the rear wheels.
Externally, this Bel Air sports the original color of Mist Blue
that is accented by beautiful brightwork throughout the exterior.
Complementing all the chrome and Mist Blue paint are 15-inch Weld
wheels that have a polished finish. Hoosier slicks in the rear make
sure this Hot Rod will hook up. Inside the vehicle are beautiful
Mist Blue seats, door cards, head liner, and visors all in great
condition as is the painted dashboard and blue carpets. Like the
exterior, the interior has plenty of chrome bits that add plenty of
class to the overall experience. Under the dash you can see an MSD
ignition box, an Autometer Pro Comp Monster Tach, a trio of
Autometer gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, and volts.
You also can't help but notice the roll bar, racing seat belts, and
a Hurst Quarter Stick shifter. Suspension has some healthy upgrades
like a stout 12 bolt rear end and Comp Engineering adjustable
shocks. Under the hood is a clean 396 that is topped with an
Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, and an aluminum water pump with a
serpentine belt set up. All this combined gives something that is a
real Show-N-Go machine. Please call or email us today with any
questions or for additional information. Drive this one out of our
showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the
United States! Don't hesitate to give us a call with any questions
or for more information.
The Chevrolet Bel Air is a full-size car produced by Chevrolet for
the 1950-1975 model years. Initially, only the two-door hardtops in
the Chevrolet model range were designated with the Bel Air name
from 1950 to 1952. With the 1953 model year, the Bel Air name was
changed from a designation for a unique body shape to a premium
level of trim applied across a number of body styles. The Bel Air
continued with various other trim level designations, and it went
from a mid-level trim car to a budget fleet sedan when U.S.
production ceased in 1975. Production continued in Canada, for its
home market only, through the 1981 model year. The Chevrolet Bel
Air, especially its third-generation design, has been considered an
icon of the 1950s. Well-maintained and preserved examples are
highly sought after by car collectors and enthusiasts.
