Vehicle Description
Coyote Classics is more than happy to present to you this behemoth
of a Pontiac, a 1973 Pontiac Catalina to be specific! The classic
land-yacht layout isn't any plainer than in this Catalina, with
bench seats, power windows, air conditioning and more. The Catalina
was Pontiac's entry-level full-size car, produced from 1950 to
1981. The Catalina and other 1973 full-sized Pontiacs featured
full-width split grilles along with a federally mandated 5-mph
front bumper. and revised taillight lenses. This Catalina is
powered by a large 400 C.I. V8 paired to a 4-barrel carburetor,
giving the engine plenty of breathing room. Torque from the 400
gets to the rear end through a 3-speed automatic transmission that
shifts nice and smoothly. The exterior "Burma Brown" paint just
gleams under the sun, reflecting a cool-looking deep brown hue. The
interior continued the "wrap-around" theme on the instrument panel,
but the two round gauges were housed in square pods for 1973. This
Pontiac's interior is highly original, giving one the feeling of
stepping back into 1973. The brown bench seats are very, very
comfortable, like riding on a couch while traveling at 70mph. A
bench seat like this is great for long-distance cruising! Options
on this '73 Pontiac include power windows, factory air
conditioning, power brakes, front disc brakes, an AM/FM pushbutton
radio, a remote driver's mirror, power steering, and a dual-exhaust
system. The car rides on some nice-looking Pacer chrome wheels on
top of some Fuzion blackwall tires to compliment the chrome. This
Catalina is sure to turn heads, and like any land-yacht, this '73
floats down the road. Right now, this '73 Catalina is looking for a
new home, and it might as well be yours.
