1996 Cadillac Eldorado

The Eldorado was first introduced in 1952 and you know they must have done something right as production continued across 12 generations until ending in 2002. The Eldorado uniquely was the first nameplate used instead of the previous "series" number labeling. It was the highest priced Cadillac offered originally and kept its premium slot status in the line up except for a few years where it fell to the 2nd spot. This very nice 1996 belongs to the 12th generation which would ultimately be the end of the Eldorado name. It is an extremely well maintained car with only 12,000 original miles. It has only had 2 owners with the current owner caring for the car for the past 2 years. It is a very clean example of one of these cars and you aren't going to find one nicer. If you wanted 1 new then this is the closest you are going to get. It was special ordered in a Diamond White Firemist paint paired with a White landau roof. It has a very sleek and classy exterior but is also very sporty making the 12th gen one of the nicest designs Cadillac put out. The paint and trim work all have an excellent finish and nice shine. The thin white wall tires on it are brand new and look perfect around the original 16 inch flat faced alloy wheels.

Under the hood the car features a 32 valve Northstar V8 motor which was newly created for this generation of Eldorados. It offers plenty of power and is combined with an automatic transmission. The car runs very well and glides down the road like you would expect from a Cadillac. It is fully loaded with all available options. The car receives regular maintenance and in addition to the new tires a new battery has been installed.

The Maroon interior is very nice plush leather and is in great condition. It has dual bucket seats up front which are power adjustable. The dash has a stock layout and still wears its original Zebrano wood trim. The 1996 received an upgraded larger analog gauge cluster and updated stereo face. The trunk houses a spare and provides plenty of storage space.

Looking the car over it is clear it has been cherished and meticulously maintained since new. It comes with its original owners manual and the gold set of keys.
